Castle Combe Wedding Photography – Lucy and Erik

If this wedding seems familiar, that’s because Lucy and Erik saw how successful Lucy’s older sister Annabel’s wedding in 2011 was (flashback here) and recreated it! So it was back to Britain’s prettiest village, Castle Combe in Wiltshire, for preps at the Manor House Hotel, a ceremony at St. Andrew’s Church, afternoon tea in Lucy’s parents’ garden and finally a reception in the field next door.

One noticeable difference were the blue and yellow flowers and the blue and yellow decorations all around the marquee to recognise the Swedish contingent (the groom and his family). Plus, Lucy and Erik’s wedding took place the day before my son Eric’s birthday, which was an interesting coincidence!

Castle Combe Wedding Photography – Annabel and Tristam

Annabel and Tristam chose the chocolate box village of Castle Combe in Wiltshire as the location for their wedding. Of course it helped that Annabel’s parents live there and had access to a large field behind their house for the marquee!

After getting ready at the Manor House Hotel the bride and her bridesmaids walked over to St Andrew’s Church for the ceremony. After the marriage they collected their young daughter from the babysitters on the front row, and headed outside for meeting and greeting. Then they jumped in their car for the short drive up the hill to the reception.

Afternoon tea was followed by a wander over to the marquee for the wedding breakfast, a full set of speeches and then some crazy dancing complete with dressing up!
