After getting ready at her parents’ house in Wimbledon, Carly and her bridal party headed down the A3 to beautiful Loseley Park near Guildford. She married Russell in the Great Hall of the house before heading into the gardens to enjoy unseasonably mild conditions for late October! As the sun set, everyone headed up to the Tithe Barn for the wedding breakfast and party, featuring a quiz, a photobooth and lots of jelly beans.

A very dark and rainy day to start November, and I was off to Gate Street Barn near Guildford for Ann & Matthew’s wedding. The barn is an amazing building constructed from oak trees felled in the storm of 1987, and the darkness and fairy lights made for a great atmosphere, and a nice challenge for yours truly!

Aki & Jim returned to Jim’s native Surrey, from their home in Japan, for their wedding at the Carlton Mitre Hotel. The couple had to legally marry in Japan due to work commitments, but had a simulated ceremony conducted by Jim’s brother Dave (whose marriage to Clara I photographed last September).
The wedding featured all manner of Japanese details including a different monster for each table name (complete with toy version of said monster, which the kids had great fun with) and sake for the toasts.
