Sarah and Morgan – Wedding Photography in Henley-upon-Thames

Because my wife was expecting our first child in December, my last wedding of the year was at the end of November. I had my good friend Paul with me in case I needed to rush to the hospital, and as well as helping out throughout the day he was able to capture Morgan’s preparations in the morning.

After a ceremony at St. Nicholas’ church in Rotherfield Greys, the wedding party and guests headed off to The Crooked Billet pub and restaurant up the road in Stoke Row. A very dark day, in an equally dark but cosy venue, with amazing food and a great atmosphere, helped by the large contingent of Morgan’s friends and family that had travelled from Australia intent on partying.

Helena and Oliver – Wedding Photography in Henley-on-Thames

Following their wedding ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Henley town centre, Helena and Oliver walked down to the river Thames and climbed aboard a boat which took them along the river to Bolney Ferry Boathouse. Owned by friends of the family, Helena had spent many happy days there in her childhood, and chose it as the perfect spot for their reception.

Clare & Andrew

Following a ceremony at beautiful Poundon House near Bicester, Clare and Andrew headed (part of the way by horse and carriage) to the Oxford Spires Four Pillars hotel for their reception. Some nasty Friday afternoon traffic on the Oxford ring road led to a staggered arrival for the guests, but everyone was present and correct for the first of two ‘best man’s speeches with projection’ that weekend. Next one coming tomorrow.
