Beth and Lachlan – Wedding Photography in Taynton, Gloucestershire

Beth’s family home just to the west of Gloucestershire was the setting for her wedding to Lachlan, and after raining heavily for most of the night before, the weather was actually fairly kind to them on the day. The locals came out in force to help with the big day, including offering their services for hair and make-up!

There was a short trip up the road to the local church for the ceremony, followed by a Royal Navy guard of honour by Lachlan’s colleagues, then back to the house. The brief showers kept most of the guests in the marquee for the drinks reception, where they stayed for the wedding breakfast, speeches and a ceilidh.

Alice & Dan – Wedding Photography at Lower Slaughter Manor, Gloucestershire

The fantastically named Lower Slaughter Manor was the venue for Alice & Dan’s Cotswolds wedding. My second pair of graphic designers in a row, and my second Dan in a row too! This Dan was possibly my most nervous yet though, although with the ceremony out of the way he was fine.

Many of Alice’s family had travelled over from Singapore, bringing with them flower petals to use for the confetti, adding an eastern flavour to a decidedly English wedding.

The village of Kempsford was the location for Natasha and James’ wedding on the 8th September. Following the ceremony at the fantastic St. Mary’s church, the couple and their bridesmaids, ushers and flowergirls walked through the village to Kempsford Manor where guests were treated to live music and lawn games.
