My second couple named Lindsay & Simon during 2008! They planned their wedding at Birtsmorton Court in Worcestershire from their home in Sydney, Australia, only visiting the venue for the first time two weeks before the big day.
The wedding went very smoothly, despite the best attempts of the weather and we were even treated to a pre-party fireworks display from across the moat.

Guy’s parents hosted their son’s wedding in their back garden/orchard, in the lovely Lincolnshire village of Wellingore. The ceremony itself took place just round the corner at the local church and was nerve-wracking not just for the couple themselves, but also for the vicar who was conducting her first ever wedding service!
Back at the house a classic English tea party was the theme with cream teas, sandwiches and bunting, along with some outdoor games which Jess & Guy’s dog Stan was very eager to join in with. After much duelling with the toy planes that were given as favours, the guests ended their evening with a frantic céilidh.

Off to ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ country for Fiona & Tom’s wedding. With a fantastic house overlooking Honley village in West Yorkshire, Fiona’s parents had the perfect venue for their wedding. The ceremony took place up the road in Farnley Tyas, and the guests were ferried back to the house in an old bus.
As well as possibly the biggest and most glamorous marquee I’ve ever seen, the happy couple also had two wedding cakes. The amazing white chocolate cake was taken off to be sliced for dessert, and was replaced by a cake of cheeses.
